How do I add an authentication method?

Authentication methods are essentially ways of entering an app. In our app, you can add additional methods like Apple ID, Google or Facebook.

App

1. Open the ForestVPN app. You will find yourself on our home page.
2. At the top of our home page, above the player button, you will find your account ID. Tap on it to access your Profile settings.
3. After opening your Profile settings, tap on the first option, Profile. Here, you will see which authentication methods are connected, and which aren’t.
4. To connect a new method, tap on it. For example, if you want to enter with your Apple ID, tap “Continue with Apple”.
5. Next, you will simply have to follow on-screen instructions. Instructions will ask you to sign in to your Facebook/Google/Apple account or Apple ID.
6. After you’ve finished signing in and connecting a new method, you will be able to sign in to ForestVPN with that account. Congratulations!

Dashboard

1. Go to Dashboard
2. Sign into your account. After signing in, tap on Settings at the left bottom of the page.
3. Tap on the option next to the General settings called Authentication settings.
4. To connect a new method, tap on it.
5. Next, you will simply have to follow on-screen instructions. Instructions will ask you to sign in to your Facebook/Google/Apple account or Apple ID.
6. After you’ve finished signing in and connecting a new method, you will be able to sign in to ForestVPN with that account. Congratulations!

MacOS

1. Open ForestVPN. Tap on the three lines in the left corner to open the side menu. Tap on Profile. Here, you will see which authentication methods are connected, and which aren’t.
