How do I use locations?

What exactly are VPN locations?

Locations are really remote servers in several countries that you connect to. When you access the internet without a VPN, you connect to a server in your area. By connecting to a VPN from, say, Tokyo, you connect to a Japanese server.

Your chosen location will influence your online experience in terms of advertisements, pricing, restricted content, and so on. Users frequently use VPN to access content or sites that are blocked in their country.

ForestVPN offers over 50 locations spread across 30+ countries. We have server locations in North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Oceania, making it a truly global VPN service.

How do I use locations?

All of our locations can be found in our Location section. To turn a location on, choose one and tap on it to connect.

The colored bars near the location name can tell you how strong it is. Green bars indicate that the server has a solid connection, whereas red bars indicate the opposite.

If your connection is weak, try switching to a location with green bars; it should solve your problem.
